# A Week With Nothing Graded, 448 Cut-Day Calls Filed, and Kansas City Still the Field's Worst Miss | MissedTakes Daily

Zero takes were graded in the last seven days. Not one. The grading queue is between seasons: the 2025 results are settled and the 2026 ones haven't happened yet.

What did move is the inflow. 448 new takes landed in the same week, and the recent feed makes clear where they came from: cut-down weekend. Friday's claims alone include [Noah Strackbein](/nfl/teams/steelers) naming all six wide receivers Pittsburgh keeps, Jeff Kerr on Philadelphia's last pass-rush spot, a Baltimore projection that had [Diego Pounds](/nfl/players/diego-pounds) narrowly missing the 53, and [Damonza Byrd](/pundits/damonza-byrd) predicting [Shedeur Sanders](/nfl/players/shedeur-sanders) is Cleveland's QB1 before the year is out.

That matters, because those are the two claim types with the worst track record for telling us anything. [Depth Chart Calls](/predictions/depth-chart) grade at 93.5 average accuracy across 415 graded takes — and an average skill delta of just **+1.82**, meaning almost all of that accuracy is available to anyone who reads a depth chart. [Roster Spot Calls](/predictions/roster-spot) grade at 81.6 accuracy across only 49 graded, with a skill delta of **−4.08**: on this small a sample, the field has been slightly worse than the naive guess. Compare Mock Draft Picks at +36.09 over 2,913 graded calls, or Position Order Calls at +56.36.

The lead-time split says the same thing from another angle. Depth-chart accuracy barely moves with how far out the call was made: 94 inside six weeks, 95 at six weeks to four months, 94 at four to eight months, 91 beyond eight months. Nobody is getting sharper as camp closes. The claim is simply easy.

Also worth noting: 3,534 depth-chart takes have been filed and 415 graded; 2,256 roster-spot takes filed and 49 graded. Site-wide there are 13,071 pending claims. Most of this week's wave will settle within days, and it will settle at high accuracy and near-zero skill. ## Nobody changed their mind

The change-of-mind feed is empty this week — no pundit on record reversing a prior position. In a week with nothing graded, that is the honest read: the field is publishing new claims, not revising old ones.

## Consensus: the 2025 Chiefs are still the field's biggest collective error

With no fresh grades, the standing consensus record is the story. Across every 2025 season win-total call with at least five entries, the field's worst team was Kansas City: 13 calls, average 12.3 wins, actual 6 — the group was **6.3 wins too high**. [Rich Eisen](/pundits/rich-eisen) had two separate 15-win calls on them; [Nick Wright](/pundits/nick-wright) filed four between 12 and 13.

The pattern is the interesting part: the field was too low on three 14-win teams (New England, Seattle, Denver) and too high on the teams it had already decided were good. Only four pundits clear ten graded win-total calls, so the type-specific board is thin: [Colin Cowherd](/pundits/colin-cowherd) leads at 21.92 on 22 graded, [Chris Brockman](/pundits/chris-brockman) sits at 6.59, Eisen at −2.52, and Wright at −10.42 despite the largest sample of the four at 50.

Award ballots for 2025 tell a friendlier story. MVP was the field's cleanest call: 26 of 100 picks went to Matthew Stafford, who won. Jaxon Smith-Njigba took Offensive Player of the Year with a leading 7 of 20 picks, and Myles Garrett won Defensive Player of the Year with 6 of 18. Offensive Rookie of the Year was a coin flip the field half-caught — Tetairoa McMillan tied Ashton Jeanty at 5 picks each of 29. Defensive Rookie of the Year went the other way: Carson Schwesinger won with 4 picks while Abdul Carter led the ballot with 5.
