Jeremy Brener· Aug 11, 2026

Brener predicts the Seahawks' preseason quarterback usage against Dallas: Darnold plays a series or two in the first quarter, Drew Lock follows as the veteran backup, and Jalen Milroe gets the entire second half. He also asserts Lock enters the preseason as the No. 2 quarterback ahead of Milroe.

Lock has not done anything to lose the backup job, which is why he should get the first chance to back up Darnold in the preseason.
