The middle ground
The same graded calls, zoomed to the bands between the spikes — every take that earned partial credit.
Takes in each band
1,344 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (914), season win totals (151) and positional finishes (130) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.

Ashton genty is going to average one hundred yards a game, very possibly if he goes to Jacksonville at five or Raiders at six.
I would be shocked if New York doesn't select him at three.
And number nine the Saints... I think they go with Mikel Williams from Georgia.
Number two, most talented athlete in the draft... Travis Hunter, goes to Cleveland.
Cam Ward is the best available quarterback this year... And yet this year he's going to be number one.
What about the Niners in Kelvin Banks... they need everything... I believe that they're gonna just take the best overall player
Number six the Raiders. I believe they're going to get Ashton Genty.
Number one cam Ward. This is an easy one, good fit with Brian Callahan's offense
Number ten the Bears... I think the Bears are gonna get will Johnson the corner.
then number fifteen the Falcons take Jahad Campbell.
Genti's going five Jacksonville.
I love Colston Loveland. I have him as my top tight end in the draft.
I think the New York Giants are gonna go get Abdul Carter.
Patriots go offensive tackle Will Campbell. LSU.
Number five, the Jaguars go for one of the cleaner players in the draft Mason Graham.
Mimbo does not get past the Bears. There's no chance Mimbo is going to be a top ten pick... watch out for Mimbo. In the top ten
number seven, the Jets go for Tyler Warren.
Number six the Panthers Jaylon Walker. I mean again, it's another Georgia pass rusher.
Number eleven nine Ers, I think they get Kelvin Banks left tackle.
number fourteenth pick. The Colts will take, in their eyes, the best player available. Armand Membo from Missouri.
It's the Tennessee Titans taking quarterback cam Ward out of the University of Miami... He goes to the Tennessee Titans to try to turn around that franchise with the first overall pick.
that's Travis Hunter, the wide receiver quarterback out of the University of Colorado. He goes to the New York Giants.
At number four... The New England Patriots... one of the best tackles in the draft in Will Campbell... So Will Campbell's the pick here out of LSU at tackle for New England.
Number nine, and this is where the Carolina Panthers now slide back a spot... It's gonna be mckel Williams, the edge defender out of Georgia.
The Saints then select quarterback Jackson Dart out of All miss... here at the number eight spot.
