Aaron Ladd · Apr 24, 2026

Before the Chiefs' pick at No. 6, Ladd predicted Kansas City had traded up to take edge rusher Arvel Reese. After the pick, he framed Mansour Delaine as the immediate replacement for Trent McDuffie as the Chiefs' No. 1 cornerback.

I think it's gotta be Reese. If the Giants don't take him first, that that's my feeling.

  • Arvell Reese to be picked at number 6

So but, yeah, we'll gotta be edge rusher. It's gotta be edge rusher. They want Reese... I think it's gotta be Reese. If the Giants don't take him first, that that's my feeling.

  • Mansoor Delane to be 1st on the depth chart

Now you got your guy at cornerback one at a premium position of need that you can slide in and is under team control

Not settled yet. This is graded once the season it describes has finished.
