The middle ground
The same graded calls, zoomed to the bands between the spikes — every take that earned partial credit.
Takes in each band
1,344 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (914), season win totals (151) and positional finishes (130) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.

I ended up taking the linebackers Sony Styles from Ohio State... I think Styles is probably the best fit for Washington on the board here.
So the aforementioned Caden Proctor forty nine ers really need to find the successor to thirty seven year old left tackle Trent Williams
And that's why I went with Spancer Fano of the offensive tackle from Utah. I think you put him plug and play starter at right tackle.
I don't know how big he's gonna be, so I kind of want to see how his tape is awesome, he's going in the first round.
So the Bucks are going to go with Cassius Howell from Texas A and M
The Steelers Mackay Lemon, the wide receiver from USC... So they're gonna add Makaye Lemon, primarily a slot guy
I'm going Oregon head and Kenyon Sadik... this is the most talented tight end in the class
this is an amazing player and he is going to be in the top ten for sure, no doubt
Well, now that Mench has already ppreciaded this, Deick, I'm gonna take Casey... They have a wide receiver with conception on who's an electric slot guy.
Yeah, I got him taking Caleb Downs... So we just snuck him in here at pick number ten.
but I went with Peter Woods, the interior defensive lineman from Clemson
He's a great pick wherever he goes, and he has to go in the top ten
none more interesting than Chris Johnson San Diego State... This is one of my favorite players in the draft.
They are going to go with rubyen Bain the edge sure from Miami... Bain is special, and I hope the Cardinals front office recognizes that
So Francis Mauinoa from Miami is the pick, and Mauno is just a freak athlete.
It is the Jeremiah Love spot, Joe... But now the Chiefs might get a shot at Love, who is one of the few special players in this draft
I'm going to get the Titans David Bailey the edge out of Texas Tech... So I think the Titans take him here at pick number four.
All right, Joe, I'm giving you an edge rusher TJ. Parker of Clemson.
So the Vikings are going to get Ajterrell's little brother, Avianterrell from Clemson... So Avian Terrell to Minnesota
that's why I went with Caleb Banks, the defensive tackle from Florida... So I went Kayla Banks for you
they got their corner with their first pick, and now they get the edge with the second pick at Key Messager
Ty Simpson from Alabama? The quarterbacks still on the board... Do they find their future quarterback this late in the first round
He's a guy that could start to climb. I wouldn't be surprised a lot of people have him out of the first round right now. I wouldn't be surprised. Be snuck back in.
but the Las Vegas Raiders. They certainly earned that number one spot, and it seems like the consensus is going to be Fernando Mendoza... so the number one pick is already done for Nanda Mendoza, the consensus pick
Steve Keldrick Falk the edge from Auburn just seems like an eric to cost A pick to me... I think they take Keldric Falk out of Auburn
