The middle ground
The same graded calls, zoomed to the bands between the spikes — every take that earned partial credit.
Takes in each band
1,344 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (914), season win totals (151) and positional finishes (130) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.

I go Mansor Delane, the cornerback out of LSU, first cornerback off the board for Miami.
The tackle run continues with the Eagles. They go to Arizona State. Yes, they take Max Ihanachor
so I have him ending the tackle run with Caleb Lomu, the tackle from Utah
I have another pass rusher going next, Cassius howel... that's not a bad pick at twenty six
We take the safety from Oregon by way of Purdue off the board... to get him at twenty
My least favorite pick of the mock draft is Monroe Freeling the Georgia tackle to the Rams.
Maybe I'm just wish casting because I have Jermond McCoy going next to the Patriots.
Number one overall... is Fernando Mendoza going to the Raiders at number one overall, the Indiana kid.
He's the best player on that defense. I think he's a good top four Player.
I think Fernanda Mendoza, obviously it's the best quarterback in this draft.
the one thing that we're talking about being a lock them if you lock it in Ty Simpson, is he a locked to do in the first round. I'm gonna say lock... I feel like it's starting to look more and more like Arizona.
So what I ultimately did was I think I ended up going Caleb Downs there at at pick number five.
I have Styles going four, I had Jeremy I Love three.
So if he's on the board, we take him because he's the only first round linebacker.
Now I've got Sonny Styles going to Robert Salah at four.
