Pat Fitzmaurice· Aug 23, 2026

Fitz is avoiding De'Von Achane at his second-round price given Miami's offensive line, low win expectations and Malik Willis at quarterback, and does not believe in a Brian Thomas Jr. bounce-back given target competition and last year's inefficiency.

It's possible Achane's talent overcomes the adverse conditions he faces in 2026, but that's not a bet I'm eager to make in the second round of fantasy football drafts.
