The middle ground
The same graded calls, zoomed to the bands between the spikes — every take that earned partial credit.
Takes in each band
1,344 graded takes land strictly between the extremes, and the shape has a story: the counts climb as the scores improve. A take that earns partial credit is far more likely to be nearly right than nearly wrong.
This is where the curve-graded kinds live — mock draft picks (914), season win totals (151) and positional finishes (130) — the kinds where missing by a little costs a little, not everything.

This team, this is in what world? Unless you're a diehard Eagles guy? Do you not envision this team winning the Super Bowl? Because I can't. I just don't envision them losing any of these games.
I wouldn't go into the season without Sam Donald because that's a known commodity, especially within this system.
Makes him an MVP candidate, likely Offensive Player of the Year.
they should be in the hunt to win that division and they should add a minimum, make the playoffs. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation for him in Chicago with that talent level next year.
My safest prediction in the NFL next year, beyond Buffalo and Kansas City, if Mahomes and Josh Allen or upright will be playoff teams
My safest prediction in the NFL next year, beyond Buffalo and Kansas City, if Mahomes and Josh Allen or upright will be playoff teams
But I've been on the Bills for a month to win the Super Bowl. The winner of this game, in my opinion, hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
I did have the Bills winning the Super Bowl this year, so I'm I am invested.
I think I think the next year they're gonna Patriots could make the playoffs
you could make the argument because of the last lack of play off success, we got to reorder this is it goes Mahomes, Josh, then Joe Burrow and then Lamar Jackson.
I think Josh Allen, Mahomes to me, John have separated themselves as the best two quarterbacks in the league... And then I think the next tier of quarterbacks after those two starts with Joe Burrow and Jaden Daniels may be right behind him.
But I think because of their own line and running game. I think offensively, they're a double digit win team for the next three to four years.
I think the Bills are gonna win next week, and I think they're gonna win the super Bowl.
I like Detroit. I think Dan Campbell, the way they play, the getting healthy ... I'll take the straight lane the nine. And a half.
You guys, the Lions are gonna win, but nine and a half is a lot. They'd have to win by ten. I don't see that happening.
it sounds and feels foolish to say that the Lions are gonna cover, but I think they will because they're at home, and I think their defense is strong enough to contain him. Thirty twenty covers
the at Home, especially the Lions just too powerful of a team. I could see him winning by like thirteen points
I will lay the points of the Lions. There you go, that's nine point.
They will finish one to two in the MVP voting
All of these pieces lead up to what I think will be number one and number two in the MVP voting
This is my favorite pick of the entire week, is the Lions covering that big spread.
I picked the Bills to win the Super Bowl before the season... I feel good about sticking with my preseason pick, and I do pick the Bills.
I actually have a closer game. It is my most confident on the week in terms of who wins
they score between thirty five and forty. Jayden has a fine game, and it's somewhere like thirty eight to twenty four.
I ended up with Chiefs, Lions, Eagles, Bills.
