The New York Jets were founded in 1959 in New York, New York, and play their home games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The franchise is headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, and owned by Woody Johnson, with Darren Mougey serving as general manager and Aaron Glenn as head coach. The club is also known by nicknames including Gang Green, the Green and White, and Broadway Jets. The Jets reached the playoffs in back-to-back seasons in 2009 (9–7) and 2010 (11–5), and posted a 10–6 record in 2015, but have struggled to recapture that form since. Recent years have been difficult: a 2–14 finish in 2020 was followed by several losing campaigns, including 5–12 in 2024 and 3–14 in 2025. The current roster features names like Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and T'Vondre Sweat.
