The Washington Commanders franchise was founded in 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts. The team now plays home games at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, with headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia. Also known as Burgundy and Gold, the club is owned by Josh Harris, with Adam Peters serving as general manager and Dan Quinn as head coach. The Commanders have experienced considerable fluctuation over the years covered here. After a 4–12 campaign in 2009 and a 6–10 finish in 2010, the team made the playoffs in 2015 with a 9–7 record. Seasons of 8–7–1, 7–9, and 3–13 followed before a 7–9 playoff appearance in 2020. The 2024 season marked a recent high point at 12–5 with a playoff berth, though 2025 saw a drop to 5–12. The current roster features quarterback Jayden Daniels alongside veteran Marcus Mariota, receivers Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs, offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, and linebacker Leo Chenal, among others.

“And then Chris Rodriguez is like an end of the draft dart throw that I'm happy to take if I don't already have Eckler.”

“We've seen Bill Krofsky Merrit going to like the seventh rounds, some people posting around the fifth round. I think it's gone too crazy”
“pass on Bill, draft Eckler, draft Rodriguez. Bill is just so we know he is not going to get the high value touches... he's not going to live up to the mania that we're seeing with him right now”
“whereas Eckler, I think is probably going to lead this backfield in snaps and maybe touches too, and like is really easily draftable, like in the mid to late thirties at running back”
“Jaquori Crosskey Merritt... He's sitting in those like RB sixty to seventy range... I have him at RB thirty two... he's in that fringe RB two RB three conversation”
“Bill krossky Merritt running back for the Washington Commanders... I think that round eight is probably the most aggressive I would push him up”
“But I went with Jane Daniel. And it's more because I think that there's still some meat left on the bone there.”
“I'd rather just wait, like several rounds later and get the same level of production, if not better from zach Ertz.”
“Robinson isn't that different from Conner, but he is much more explosive and could post huge numbers in 2024... Everything is lined up for Robinson to have a massive season for the Commanders.”

“Riley Nowakowski out of Indiana... So he is the seventh round pick wrapping up this mock draft.”

“We wrap it all up with a potential big edge of the future, you know, developmental seventh round guy, Vincent Anthony Junior, edge rusher out of Duke.”

“There's Jonah Coleman from Washington who's very good... I think all those guys are probably worth a third round pick somewhere.”
