Scored under the published methodology, which sets out what counts as right, what a naive guess would have said, and why an earlier call is worth more than a late one.

Why so many dead-wrong answers?
Mock drafts are the single biggest source of zero scores on this site — and it is not because analysts are bad at them. It is because a mock draft asks the same person to do two very different jobs, and only one of them is possible.
Accuracy collapses after round one
- Round 1 · picks 1–321653 picks · off by 10 on average76.4 avg
- Round 2 · 33–64112 picks · off by 25 on average49.5 avg
- Round 3 · 65–10093 picks · off by 34 on average38.8 avg
- Day 3 · 101–175158 picks · off by 41 on average32.7 avg
- Late Day 3 · 176+93 picks · off by 50 on average26.9 avg
A first-round mock is a genuinely good prediction. Across 1653 first-round picks the average score is 76.4, missing by about 10 places. By late day 3 that has fallen to 26.9, missing by 50.
The order of the late rounds is close to unknowable. Thirty-two teams making a hundred and fifty picks are working from private boards, trades nobody has made yet, and medical information that never becomes public. 38% of every zero-scored pick we hold was mocked after round two.
Which is a hard thing to score fairly, and looking at this chart is what made us change how we do it. Until 2 August 2026 credit ran out at one full round, so a pick 32 places out and one 128 places out both scored zero — and 29% of every pick we held sat on that floor. Credit now halves every sixteen picks instead: the standard for a good pick is untouched, and being wrong by a round is no longer the same answer as being wrong by four. The methodology records the change and the numbers behind it.
An analyst who mocks all seven rounds is still attempting the hardest version of the exercise, and the back half will always score lower than the front. That is why the leaderboard ranks on MissedTakes Score, which comes from how well a mock ordered the draft rather than from its individual picks — a seven-round mock is judged on the shape it got right, not on the length of its tail.

These are predictions about where a team would pick, not judgements of the player. A slide says as much about thirty-two front offices as it does about anyone’s evaluation.

Zach Lutmer to be picked “Late Day 2” (picks 67–100)
Player type: Slot / Early grade: Late Day 2
Fernando Mendoza to be picked at number 1
all indications point to the team having selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick
Jeremiah Smith to be picked at number 1
potentially even the first player off the board next spring
Brendan Sorsby to be picked “likely ticketed for the twenty twenty seven draft”
Brendan Soresby is now likely ticketed for the twenty twenty seven draft.

Brendan Sorsby to be picked “potential late first round, clear second round type of quarterback” (picks 1–32)
for a lot of people who didn't know that Brendan Soresby, who I covered a couple of games last year, I thought he is a potential late first round, clear second round type of quarterback.
Waiting on the season to settle this.said Jun 22, 2026 Brendan Sorsby to be picked “first round pick” (picks 1–32)
if there are multiple teams that are going after, we very well could go after go be a first round pick
- PendingBen GarciaMock Draft Picks
Brendan Sorsby to be picked “first round pick” (picks 1–32)
if this kid does hit, who I think could potentially be a first round pick next year
Waiting on the season to settle this.said Jun 19, 2026 Brendan Sorsby to be picked “third to fourth round pick” (picks 97–140)
I would expect that he'll be drafted. And I think he's probably a third to fourth round pick, somewhere in there.
Brendan Sorsby to be picked “day three ask pick”
I would be shocked if anybody uses a day one or two pick on him, truthfully. So you're probably looking at day three ask pick on him.
Arch Manning to be picked at number 1
I think arch Manning is gonna be next year's number one overall pick.
Dante Moore to be picked “a high draft pick”
You're gonna go ahead and and blow a high draft pick on Dante Moore next year.
Arch Manning to be picked “top ten” (picks 1–10)
even if he has a terrible season, the hype around him in the combine, in the Pro Day, he still will end up a top ten
Nick Nash to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
he's got Nick marsh and Charlie Becker, who hello, are going to be first round wide receivers... In this twenty twenty seven class
C.J. Carr to be picked “top ten” (picks 1–10)
he's a quiet reserve guy that could sneak up on draft boards and could be a guy we talked about it to be a top ten
Charlie Becker to be picked “first round” (picks 1–32)
he's got Nick marsh and Charlie Becker, who hello, are going to be first round wide receivers... In this twenty twenty seven class
Brandon Doughty to be picked “a third or fourth round, pick” (picks 64–139)
I think he might be like a third or fourth round, pick
Jeremiah Smith to be picked at number 1
you got Jeremiah Smith who must he might be number one overall. Next year, a receiver going number one. Unheard of.
Matt Moore to be picked at number 1
everyone's Saying Arch banning is the number one overall. Pick i'm rooting for. HIM ... but based on what we saw last. Year number one overall Pick Dante. Moore
Kaleb Proctor to be picked “round two”
my bold prediction is Cale Proctor, the Southeast Louisiana defensive tackle, hundred twenty third on the consensus board. He comes off the board in round two.
R Mason Thomas to be picked at number 33
Pick 33 to the niners. I think R Mason Thomas is a first round caliber player.
Kyle Louis to be picked “the next pick the Texans have in the second round” (picks 33–64)
The next pick, that the Texans have in the second round... I finally settled in on Kyle Lewis, the, linebacker from Pitt.
Christen Miller to be picked at number 38
with the first pick of the second round that they have, pick number 38, I passed on Caden McDonald and gave him Kristen Miller, another defensive tackle out of Georgia
Carnell Tate to be picked “off the board before the ninth pick”
If Carnel Tate is there at nine, I believe they will take him. I do not think he will be there at nine.
Rueben Bain to be picked at number 9
I believe Ruben Bain Junior is going to be there. I think Rubyen Bain Junior is going to be the pick... He is the guy will have the Chiefs taking in the final mock draft I do.
Rueben Bain to be picked “gone by ten”
Y'all remember Ojo said Bain would be gonna be gone by ten and that's why he loved the Bengals trade. O Yo, ain't always right.
